A simple search of front page stories on digg .com results in about 50 bacon related posts.

The only other food related search that I have found to beat it is “Burger” (Delisciously understandable).
I get the sneaking suspicion that the National Pork Board may be gaming the system.

With newspapers all across the US losing circulation to internet distribution, I want to propose a solution that would save print journalism. As always, I will keep it short…
Amazon should subsidize e-paper readers by charging subscription fees for national newspapers, magazines, and well known internet news sources. This is the business model that has worked for cable companies and cell phones.
Here is how the contract could look…
- Hardware - $50-70
- Basic Package (USA Today, Washington Post, CNN, etc..) - $15/month
- Each additional “premium” magazine (Time, Newsweek, People, Etc…) - $1-2/month
The unit would still be used to buy books and music.
I understand that the hardware costs are still a bit of a hurdle, but mass adoption of the product could warrant mass production to bring in larger subscription profits.

I can’t stop listening to the new album from Dead Confederate. “The Wrecking Ball” is an album that puts Nivana, early Radiohead, and Muse in to a musical influence blender and spits out something that you’ve never heard yet it sounds soo familiar. My only complaint with this album is that they let the engineer go a bit overboard with the reverb. This is a band that should have you feel like the guitar is right in front of your face, and imagine that the singer is not far behind it. The singles that you will want to focus in on are “The Rat”, and “Wrecking Ball”.
